UniPlayer 3
(version 3S)
UniPlayer is a versatile, object-like multimedia player with many ways to handle images, music and video. In addition, this application is internet enabled, as any other browser. And, finally, it is a launcher and notepad, so you can browse and open local files, write and store annotations.
The improved version 3 unveils common tasks like these:
° Music - UniPlayer opens Audio CDs, sound files supported by the operating system, and also can sync with Apple's iTunes application and their playlists, controll it with shortcuts, display and set the artwork.
° Images in Sequence - Slides can be presented in the little window or in the entire screen.
° Movies - Watching videos in full screen and back is quickly and synchronized.
° Internet - Navigate, search, check and send e-mail, perform downloads, all standard features of a web browser are available, also in full screen mode.
° Hard Disks - From UniPlayer we can launch applications, browse and open local files, pdf, html, disk images, compressed archives and others.
° Customization - A Settings window allows us to choose the Videos directory, Home Page and wallpaper.
° Shortcuts - A compact menu with all available commands can also be used instead of the correspondent shortcuts. The keyboard is, however, the best way to use the application. For example, the views of 3 items - Slides, Movies and Web - are controlled with the same shortcut: (Cmd + X).
° Simultaneous tasks - Listen to music while browsing the web: use the keyboard shortcuts to control the volume, play, pause, jump to the next or previous song.
